Victoria is a Communications Specialist with a broad range of experience in print and online media in the academic and charity sectors.

Victoria supports the Centre’s internal and external communication activities, working with the existing Communications Manager and research support group manager. She contributes to the SAMHE and INGENIOUS projects, investigating indoor air quality in UK schools and homes respectively.

Victoria has a background in wildlife conservation and environmental education. She holds an MSc in Wildlife Management from the University of Reading and a BA in Natural Sciences from the University of Cambridge. Early in her career she worked in southern Portugal as scientific assistant warden for the charity A Rocha, then moving to work for the Church of Scotland as its first dedicated environmental officer.

More recently, Victoria has worked as Network Facilitator for an international environmental history network, Communications Officer for a York church and Senior Ethics Administrator in the University of York’s Biology Department.
