Zimbabwe’s updated climate action plan offers a wide range of social, health and development benefits, writes Chris Malley in The Conversation UK.
Though Zimbabwe contributes less than 0.1% of global greenhouse gas emissions, the country has committed to reduce emissions by 40% by 2030. By making these efforts to mitigate climate change, Zimbabwe will also be able to achieve a number of societal benefits, as well as meetings its international obligations.
