Juan Camilo Betancur Jaramillo

Research Assistant

Juan Camilo is a Research Assistant with SEI Latin America. He joined the research line of Sustainable Development Goals in April 2021.

He has experience in gender-sensitive policy analysis, environmental education, disaster risk management, and qualitative and quantitative data analysis. Also, he has knowledge of Geographical Information Systems, Python, R, ATLAS.ti, dynamic systems modelling, and birdwatching.

Juan Camilo has focused his work on the interactions between gender, environment, development, and public policies from a standpoint of Discursive Analysis. Furthermore, he has published articles and book chapters, in addition to his participation as a speaker at national and international events regarding social and environmental sciences.
