Voices from the Field: Source-to-Sea Stories from Around the World

Source-to-sea is a highly promising holistic management approach since it highlights the upstream and downstream linkages between actions on land and across freshwater, coastal, and marine ecosystems. This session explores key lessons learned from applying source-to-sea management in a variety of contexts around the world and highlights next steps in developing this innovative approach.

Putting animals on the WASH agenda

An increasing number of vulnerable people depend on animals for their survival, livelihoods, and dignity. Yet WASH (Water, Sanitation and Hygiene) interventions often fail to consider animals’ roles, needs, and impacts on water. This event will discuss how WASH interventions can address shared risks and opportunities for animals, humans and water.

SIWI Corner brings you inspiring and entertaining conversations about the most pressing water-related topics. Join this session to learn more about the source-to-sea concept and why we cannot afford not to pay attention to it.

New frontiers of governance to drive innovation for water and beyond

Join SEI US Water Program Director Marisa Escobar, who will join a roster of speakers to delve into the challenges of transboundary water management.

Wastewater – Turning Problem to Solution
